CSCV 2025: second prize in Bracket B

CSCV 2025 (Cybersecurity Student Contest Vietnam) is the national student security contest run by the National Cybersecurity Association (NCA), with the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Education and Training as patrons. I played Bracket B, the Jeopardy one, with team PTIT.0verflow. We got second prize.

In the qualifying round we finished 10th with 1,815 points, which got us into the final.

The final had 20 teams in Bracket B. When the scoreboard froze we were 6th, and for the rest of the contest we had no idea where we really stood. We just kept solving.

When the results came out on November 15 we had moved up to 3rd on the board, which meant second prize. Going from 6th at the freeze to 3rd after it was the best moment of the day for me.
