Digital Dragons 2025: a consolation prize in Da Nang

In September 2025 I went to Da Nang for Digital Dragons, The Cybersecurity Challenge 2025, with team BlueCyber_Intern. The contest was on September 20 and the closing ceremony was on the 21st at VKU. We got a consolation prize.

Big thanks to BlueCyber for sponsoring us. The company covered the trip so we could just go there and play. I learned a lot of what I know about malware and threat hunting at BlueCyber, first as an intern and then full time, so playing under the company’s name felt right.

Digital Dragons is a Jeopardy CTF organized by evvolabs and VKU. The challenges were written by CyberJutsu, so the quality was pretty good.

Closing ceremony at VKU, September 21, 2025.

Consolation prize, Digital Dragons 2025.

All in all we got a trip to Da Nang out of it and didn’t go home empty-handed. Thanks again to BlueCyber.
